Rick Scott

President, Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation at Presbyterian Healthcare Services

Rick Scott, CFRE, is responsible for fundraising and volunteer programs for Presbyterian Healthcare Services. He has been a fundraising professional for about 25 years and has extensive experience in healthcare philanthropy. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

After joining Presbyterian in 2012 and until April 2019, Rick oversaw the creation and development of the major and planned gifts program in his roles as Executive Director--Major and Planned Gifts and Vice President. He assumed the President role in April 2019.

A Wisconsin native, Rick previously held senior-level fundraising positions at Milwaukee-area healthcare institutions including Froedtert Hospital (an adult teaching hospital), the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Wisconsin.

Active in both community and professional organizations, Rick is a past president of the New Mexico Estate Planning Council and served on the board of the Center for Hands-On Learning, a Rio Rancho, NM-based nonprofit organization. He has been active with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and supported the Association for Fundraising Professionals-New Mexico Chapter, serving on both program planning and National Philanthropy Day committees, and as a mentor.

Mr. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
