Judy (Fredrics) Pugach has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Judy started their career at North Shore - LIJ Health System in 1976 as a Registered Nurse. Later, they joined New York Hospital Queens in 1980 and served as the Head Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit until 1985. In 1996, Judy joined PIH Health, where they held various roles including Vice President, Enterprise Quality, Patient Safety, Accreditation and Licensing and Chief Nursing Officer. Judy most recently served as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.
Judy (Fredrics) Pugach has a Diploma in Nursing from Cochran School of Nursing, obtained between 1974 and 1976. Judy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from LIU Post, earned from 1980 to 1984. Furthermore, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Health from California State University, Long Beach, completed from 1993 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Judy has pursued various certifications in the healthcare field, including HACP from CIHQ - Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality in 2018, Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM) in 2011, and other certifications such as CPHQ and CPHRM.
