Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center

John Goerke, RN, BSN, serves as the current Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center (P/SL) where he is responsible for the ICU, Med/Surg, Ortho/Spine, Med/Tele, Transplant/Surgical, the Staffing Office, and the Nursing Supervisors units. Beginning his nursing career 11 years ago at P/SL, he started as a new graduate nurse on the Bone Marrow Transplant unit, worked in the Adult Critical Care float pool, as a nursing supervisor, was the clinical nurse coordinator of the staffing office and for the previous three years was the Director of the ICU. John obtained his Bachelor of Nursing degree from the Denver College of Nursing and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Business Administration degree at Walden University.

John and his wife Rachelle are proud parents to Arianna, Landon and Isabella. They enjoy spending time hiking, snowboarding and traveling during their free time.
