Jerry Irvine

Jerry Irvine has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jerry started their career in 1983 at the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies as an Agent and later became a Manager. From 1989 to 1991, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Network General. Jerry then joined Efficient Market Services in 1991 as the Manager of Information Systems and later became the IT Director. In 1993, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Midwest Datacomm until 1999. From 1999 onwards, they have been associated with Prescient Solutions, currently holding the position of CIO / Partner. Additionally, they became a Board Member at the National Security Task Force in 2008 and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tampa in 2021.

Jerry Irvine completed their education at various institutions. Jerry first attended Warren G Harding Elementary from 1965 to 1970, followed by Morton High School from 1975 to 1979. Jerry then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at Valparaiso University from 1979 to 1983, where they studied Accounting, Business Administration, and Computer Science. In 2016 and 2017, they attended The George Washington University - College of Professional Studies and obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management.

In addition to their formal education, Jerry Irvine also possesses several certifications. Jerry became a Certified Ethical Hacker (CeH) through EC-Council in July 2016. Jerry also obtained the Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification from GIAC in June 2015. Furthermore, Jerry holds certifications such as CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA (January 2014), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals (January 2013), and Certified Information Security Auditor® (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls® (CRISC), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CIGEIT), and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from ISACA and DRI International, obtained in 2012.
