Lynda Bennett

Community Services Specialist at Prescott Public Library

Lynda Bennett is a Community Services Specialist at the City of Prescott since March 2024, and serves as a Consultant for LJBennett Research & Support Services LLC, assisting non-profit organizations in enhancing their effectiveness. Lynda previously worked as a Community Outreach Coordinator for First Things First, supporting the healthy development of Arizona's young children, and as a Program Manager for Catholic Charities of Arizona, overseeing various veteran services. Experience also includes serving as a Family History Support Specialist in the South Pacific for FamilySearch International, directing a health education project at Mountain States Group, coordinating suicide prevention training at Idaho State University, and providing transitional services for felony offenders at the STAR Project. Lynda has taught sociology-related courses as an adjunct instructor at both the College of Western Idaho and Wenatchee Valley College. Lynda holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Western Michigan University.
