Beto Dealmeida

Beto Dealmeida has worked for a variety of companies since 2006. Beto began their career at CCST/INPE as a Data Analyst, Software Analyst, and Climate Scientist. In 2012, they worked as an Ocean Data Engineer for Marinexplore and a Data Wizard for Zen of Data. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer and Data Engineer at Facebook. Beto then joined Lyft as a Staff Engineer and Software Engineer. Currently, Beto is a Staff Engineer at Preset.

Beto Dealmeida obtained their Bachelor's degree in Oceanology from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande / FURG between 1996 and 2000. Beto then went on to pursue a PhD in Physical Oceanography from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they completed in 2006.
