Kelli Gibson

Senior Manager, National Grant Program at National Trust for Historic Preservation

Kelli Gibson is an experienced professional in historic preservation and cultural heritage, currently serving as the Senior Manager for the National Grant Program at the National Trust for Historic Preservation since June 2025. Kelli has held various roles at the National Trust for Historic Preservation from February 2021 to June 2025, including Senior Manager for both the National Grants Program and the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund. Additional experience includes serving as a Presenting and Multidisciplinary Works & Artist Communities Specialist at the National Endowment for the Arts and as a Planner for the City of Franklin, Tennessee. Kelli's background also includes work as an Architectural Historian at TRC Companies, Inc., and graduate research assistance at the MTSU Center for Historic Preservation. Kelli holds a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History with a focus on Historic Preservation from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by a brief study at The University of Manchester.
