Leslie Canaan

Leslie Canaan is a skilled professional in heritage preservation with extensive experience in community engagement and historical preservation. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for the Preserving Black Churches Program within the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund at the National Trust for Historic Preservation since March 2018, Leslie Canaan previously held multiple roles in the City of Atlanta, including Community Engagement Manager and various positions in historic preservation. Leslie Canaan earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Clark Atlanta University and a Master's degree in Heritage Preservation from Georgia State University.
