Yasmin Lalani

Yasmin Lalani currently serves as a Presidential Innovation Fellow on the AI team at the White House and as a Senior Advisor on AI Product, Partnerships, and Communications strategy for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to these roles, Yasmin was the Co-Head of the New York FinTech Innovation Lab and Senior Director at the Partnership for New York City, both positions from February 2021 to March 2023. Yasmin co-founded OnePlace, a software hub for families, and held senior analyst positions at MPOWER Financing and Results for Development, focusing on strategy, corporate communications, and education financing. Earlier experience includes roles at Gray Matters Capital, Bank of the West, and The Brookings Institution. Academic credentials include dual MBAs from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and Cornell Tech, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Geography from The George Washington University, and a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
