Carsten Holst

Carsten Holst is an accomplished leader in cultural and community service sectors, currently serving as the Administration Chief for Culture and Community Services at Aarhus Municipality since August 2018, where responsibilities include developing policies for Community Services and Libraries for 2024-2030. Additionally, Carsten holds the position of Strategic Advisor for Filmby Aarhus and the West Danish Film Fund, ensuring strategic vision and organizational objectives are met. Carsten's extensive board experience includes roles as a member of the Presidents Institute and the Danish Cultural Institute, as well as previous board memberships with Muskelsvindfonden and Interactive Denmark. Educational qualifications include high-level management training from CBS Executive Fonden and a Master of Public Administration from Copenhagen Business School, complemented by various advanced studies in leadership and entrepreneurship.
