Genevieve Bantle (Genny)

Associate Director, Design, Construction, & Engineering at Presidio Trust

Genevieve Bantle, also known as Genny, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Genevieve (Genny) currently works at the Presidio Trust as the Associate Director of Design, Construction, & Engineering since January 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at the Presidio Trust, including Associate Director of Planning & Capital Projects from December 2016 to December 2021, Senior Project Manager for Park Projects from August 2013 to December 2016, and Project Manager for Park Projects from 2010 to August 2013.

In addition to their work at the Presidio Trust, they also serve as a Member of the Board of Directors at Success Centers since March 2022.

Before joining the Presidio Trust, Genevieve had professional experience in other organizations. Genevieve (Genny) worked as the San Francisco Bay Bridge Branch Programs Chair at the U.S. Green Building Council - Northern California Chapter from April 2010 to January 2013, where they played an active role in planning and coordinating USGBC events in the San Francisco area.

Earlier in their career, Genevieve worked as a Project Manager at the San Jose Redevelopment Agency from 2006 to 2009, at Field Paoli from 2005 to 2006, at HGA Architects from 2003 to 2004, at The Design Partnership from 1999 to 2003, and at McClier Corporation as an Assistant Project Manager in 1999.

Overall, Genevieve has gained extensive experience in project management and leadership roles across different organizations and sectors, with a focus on design, construction, engineering, and planning.

Genevieve (Genny) Bantle's education history includes a Master in Design Studies (MDesS) degree in Urbanization and Housing from Harvard University. Genevieve (Genny) also holds a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from Cornell University. Additionally, they have obtained the LEED AP certification from USGBC. In 2019, they completed a Professional Certificate in Municipal Finance from the University of Chicago.
