Merle Longenecker

Merle Longenecker has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Merle'smost recent position was as a Visitor Engagement Coordinator at the Presidio Trust, where they supported the director and team leads within the Visitor Engagement department. Prior to that, they worked at WestEd as a Consultant/Project Coordinator, where they were responsible for coordinating a Health and Human Development program team and creating a proposal response for a government contract focused on career technical education. Additionally, they worked as a Project Coordinator at WestEd from 2004 to 2015, where they supervised a statewide help center and provided administrative support to the Program Director. Merle also served as an Office Manager at ThinkWave, an educational software start-up, from 2000 to 2002, where they managed day-to-day office operations and order fulfillment. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Merle Longenecker attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1975 to 1979, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
