Bernard L Dawson, JM, CISSP, CISM, CISA, currently serves as the Director of the Office of the CISO at Presidio since May 2016, where Bernard developed security processes and policies that led to the company achieving its first unqualified SOC 2 report and ISO 27001 certification. Prior experience includes serving as a Nuclear Communications Manager at United States Strategic Command, delivering 24x7 communication support to senior U.S. government officials and maintaining a 99.9% readiness for nuclear command and control circuits. Bernard's extensive background in the U.S. Navy encompasses roles in resource allocation management, network security analysis, and information systems security, alongside formal education that includes a Juris Master in Cybersecurity from Florida State University and multiple degrees in business and information systems.
