Daniel Hofer

Daniel Hofer, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud operations and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Sr. Manager and formerly Manager of Cloud Ops at Presidio since March 2018, Daniel has a strong background that includes roles as a Junior Cloud Engineer and Associate Solutions Architect. Previously, Daniel worked at Hardesty & Hanover, LLP from October 2008 to March 2018 as an Electrical Engineer, focusing on the design and inspection of bridge systems and power distribution. Earlier positions include roles in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) as an Assistant Language Teacher, systems engineering at SoundSense, LLC, and an intern at the NYC Transit Authority. Daniel began a career in aquatics as a certified swim instructor with the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and the YMCA. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
