Peter Colborne-Veel

Peter Colborne-Veel is a seasoned Senior AI Engineer at Presien since September 2018, contributing to advancements in AI vision technology for heavy industry. Prior to this role, Peter served as a Rapid Iteration Prototype Engineer in the Engineering Excellence Group at Laing O'Rourke from July 2016 to April 2020, focusing on robotics research, deep learning, and app development. Peter's early experience includes a position as a Research Assistant Intern at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems, where responsibilities involved robotics and software optimization. Additionally, an internship at Yokogawa Australia and New Zealand from June 2012 to February 2013 allowed Peter to gain vital experience in software development and testing. Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical/Mechatronics from the University of Technology Sydney, obtained in 2015.
