Tarek M.

Tarek M. is a Principal Data Scientist at G42 and Presight since 2019, with extensive experience in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics. Prior work at KAUST involved research on various topics, including object detection and localization, earning awards in the European Robotics League. Tarek's experience also includes a research internship at Aramco focused on reinforcement learning and a research internship at KAUST that contributed to advancements in stereo image matching. Tarek holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in AI Systems from KAUST, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and completed high school at Al Andalus Private School. Further academic pursuits include a connection with Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
