Joy Atkinson

Joy Atkinson has a wealth of experience in the cosmetics, personal care, color, sun care, and actives business. Joy began their career in 1983 as a Merchandise Manager at JCPenney, then moved to Rich's Department Stores (now Macy's) as a Buyer in 1985. In 1989, Joy joined Tsumura USA, Inc as Marketing Director/Regional Sales Manager, where they were responsible for brand development and introducing Japanese products to the U.S. market. In 1995, they moved to Firmenich as Vice President, Global Account Director. In 2004, Joy became President, Fragrance Division, North America at Symrise, where they had full P&L ownership of 120 employees and $120 million in revenues. In 2008, they returned to Firmenich as President, Body Home Care, North America, with P&L ownership of $300 million and 170+-employee division. In 2019, Joy co-founded Extraordinary-Results LLC. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Presperse Corporation as President & Chief Executive Officer.

Joy Atkinson received their BBA in Management/Finance from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business in 1983. In 2018, they obtained a Supply Chain Foundations certification from LinkedIn. Joy also received a Certification in Design Thinking from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2019, and has attended a Negotiations workshop at Harvard University.
