John Sabol

John Sabol is an experienced sports anchor and news reporter currently working at FOX 8 News Cleveland since December 2021. In addition to this role, Sabol serves as a podcast host and producer for the Press Play Podcast since June 2021. Previously, Sabol held various positions in sports radio and television, including sports anchor and reporter at WFTS-TV from 2013 to 2020, and sports director at WOWK 13 News from 2011 to 2013. Sabol began professional broadcasting with the Akron RubberDucks Baseball Club as a web reporter in 2009, and possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Kent State University, earned in May 2008.
