Timothy Joel

Timothy Joel's work experience includes various roles in the cultural and events sector. Timothy started their career at the Preston City Council, where they held positions such as Deputy Head of Culture, Events and Cultural Services Manager, Chair of Event Safety Advisory Group, and Events Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic planning, operational delivery, and cultural development for the city, including the management of major projects like the Re-Imagining the Harris capital project. Additionally, Timothy has experience in the arts industry, serving as a Director for the National Portfolio Organization Imitating the Dog. Timothy also founded and directed a creative industries SME called Bluestreak Arts Ltd, where they delivered socially engaged projects and secured contracts for Arts Health programs. Timothy's earlier experience includes working in student services at the University of Central Lancashire.

Timothy Joel attended the University of Central Lancashire from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in Acting. In addition to their formal education, Timothy has also obtained several certifications. In August 2017, they obtained a Personal Licence from Preston City Council. In September 2016, they obtained the BIIAB Level 2 National Certification for Door Supervisors from the Security Industry Authority. Lastly, in October 2011, Timothy obtained the Managing Safely certification from THE INSTITUTION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH.
