Kevin Talaue

Head of Diagnostic Technicians at Preteckt

Kevin Talaue has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kevin started their career as a 310S Apprentice at Goodturn Ride Centres in 2009 and worked there until 2013. In 2010, they also had a co-op role as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Transport Canada.

In 2014, Kevin joined Burlington Toyota as a Licensed 310S Service Technician, where they worked until 2015. Kevin then moved on to Altruck International Truck Centres, where they served as a Licensed 310T & 310S Service Technician from 2015 to 2019.

Currently, Kevin is employed at Preteckt, where they have held two roles. Kevin initially joined as a Senior Diagnostic Technician and Data Scientist in 2019 and transitioned to become the Head of Diagnostic Technicians in February 2022. The end date of their current role is not specified, indicating that they are currently still employed at Preteckt.

Kevin Talaue began their education at Mohawk College from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician. After completing their college education, Kevin obtained additional certifications in various fields. In April 2014, they obtained the 310S-Automotive Service Technician certification from the Ontario College of Trades. Later, in April 2018, Kevin obtained the 310T-Truck and Coach Technician certification from the same institution. In July 2018, they obtained the X15 CM2350 X114B, X116B, X117B (EPA 2017) ISX15 CM2250 (EPA 2010) ISX15 CM2350 (EPA 2013) Full Service Qualification from Cummins Inc. Continuing their education, Kevin obtained the International Master Certified Truck Technician certification from Navistar Inc in January 2019. Subsequently, in May 2019, Kevin obtained the Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), Python Data Structures, and AI For Everyone certifications from Coursera. Finally, in July 2019, they obtained the Cummins ISB/ISC/ISL CM2150/2250, ISB/B6.7 ISL/L9 CM2350 Full Service Qualification from Cummins Inc.
