Frank Shiau

Frank Shiau has a strong background in the financial industry, with experience in portfolio management, trading, and corporate finance. Frank is currently the Director and Portfolio Manager at Pretium, where they started in August 2022. Prior to that, Frank was the Principal and Head of Trading at Toorak Capital Partners from August 2020 to August 2022. Frank also worked as a Vice President in trading and portfolio management roles at Fortress Investment Group from April 2018 to May 2020 and at Shellpoint Partners from August 2012 to April 2018. Frank's expertise also extends to Ranieri Partners Asset Management, where they held the position of Vice President in trading and portfolio management from February 2010 to August 2012. Prior to moving into the private sector, they worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate in the Financial Instruments and Credit Group, specializing in residential mortgage-backed securities.

Frank Shiau has a Master's Degree in Real Estate/Corporate Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business, which they earned from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maryland, which they completed from 2004 to 2007.
