Jonas Hansson

Jonas Hansson is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive and entrepreneur, currently serving as Co-founder and CEO of AO Pharma AB since March 2022, where the company's focus is on developing innovative products for rare diseases and specialty care. Additionally, Jonas holds positions as Senior Advisor at Pretzel Therapeutics, Executive Chairman at Tribune Therapeutics, and Board Member at FE Fonder and PROTHELIA INCORPORATED. Previously, Jonas was a Partner and later Venture Partner at HealthCap until February 2022, and Co-founder and CEO of Wilson Therapeutics from June 2012 to June 2018, where approximately USD 100 million was raised in financing. With a solid background in the pharmaceutical industry, Jonas held various roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals and Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Science from Uppsala University.
