Juli Jones

Juli Jones has extensive work experience in various scientific and research roles. Juli is currently the Vice President of Biology at Pretzel Therapeutics, a position they started in January 2023. Prior to this, Juli worked at Cyclerion, where they held the roles of Senior Director, Head of Disease Biology from December 2021 to January 2023, and Director, Head of Disease Biology from April 2019 to December 2021. Before Cyclerion, they worked at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Principal Investigator from July 2017 to April 2019. Juli also has experience at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), where they were an Investigator III from January 2015 to July 2017, and an Investigator II from November 2012 to January 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Pfizer as a Principal Scientist from March 2010 to November 2012. Juli's earlier work experience includes positions at Lohocla Research Corporation as a Scientist from August 2008 to March 2010, and at the United States Army Institute of Environmental Medicine as a Scientist from February 2006 to August 2008.

Juli Jones completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bio-Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1996. Juli then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology at the same university from 1996 to 1998. Following this, Juli obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Finally, they completed their education with a post-doctoral fellowship in Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School, which they attended from 2002 to 2006.
