Justin Mitchell

Justin Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning over 19 years. Justin is currently the VP of Engineering at Prevalent Inc. which they joined in February 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as the CTO at 3GRC Ltd. from July 2015 to February 2019. At 3GRC, they built the company's risk management SaaS product using Laravel PHP framework and Angular JS.

Before joining 3GRC, Justin served as a Senior Developer/Architect at Pentura in April 2015, where they were responsible for creating a new Security Assessment platform. However, shortly after, Pentura was sold to InteliSecure and Justin was asked to join 3GRC as the CTO and Head of Development.

Justin's previous experience includes working as a Senior Web Developer at Bluefrog from November 2011 to April 2015. At Bluefrog, they maintained and improved client applications and websites, as well as designed and created future digital products. Justin also worked as a Web Developer & Designer at Keepa Ltd from June 2006 to November 2011, where they designed print artwork and developed websites and applications.

Their early career includes roles as a Second Line Support Analyst at Getronics UK from November 2005 to June 2006, a Mac Operator (Pre Press) & Artworker at GL Print Ltd from 2003 to 2005, and an Apprentice Electronic Engineer at South West Trains from 2000 to 2003. Justin gained experience in support management, scripting, Mac operation, and electronic engineering during these early roles.

Justin Mitchell attended The Vyne Community School from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained 10 GCSEs, including Mathematics, Science, and English, as well as an NVQ in IT systems. Following this, from 2000 to 2003, they pursued an apprenticeship program at BCOT/BETA, specializing in Electronics & Systems Engineering.
