Amy Faugas has extensive experience in nonprofit management and community service, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Healthy Families America at Prevent Child Abuse America since January 2015, where previous roles included Site Development Specialist and Operations (Implementation and Accreditation Coordinator). Prior to this, Amy worked as a Marketing and Business Development Consultant from December 2013 to May 2015 and founded Walk4Water, leading an impactful initiative that involved walking 5000 miles from Cape Town to Addis Ababa. Notable recognitions include being named National Geographic's Traveler of the Year in 2012 and CT Now's Activist of the Month in July 2011.
