Lara Melnik

Lara Melnik is a skilled professional in event planning and corporate relations with extensive experience in fundraising and project management. Currently serving as a Giving Officer at Prevent Child Abuse America since September 2021, Lara previously held the position of Corporate Relations & Events Officer at the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, where responsibilities included managing events that generated $700K in revenue and served over 1,200 children. Lara's background also includes notable project management consulting work for AT&T during the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, as well as collaboration with the Union of Concerned Scientists as a Development Coordinator managing relationships with philanthropic members. Lara began their career in event planning as a Marketing/Event Planning Intern at Robert J Events & Catering, supporting major national events.
