Jordan, LMSW (she/her) works across Communities of Care, Safety Through Connection, and Leveraging Collaboration to End Domestic Violence project teams.

Most recently, Jordan was Senior Program Manager at the Center for Civic & Public Policy Improvement in Houston, Texas. Jordan’s work began in the movement to end gender-based violence where she supported survivors and developed strategies to prevent violence. She did this through her roles as an advocate at a domestic/sexual violence shelter, a violence prevention educator where she facilitated trainings for professional communities across the Houston area, and as the Associate Director of Rice University’s SAFE Office where she developed and facilitated interpersonal violence prevention programming and courses for students, faculty, and staff and provided counseling services to students impacted by violence on campus.

Jordan is a licensed social worker in Texas and received a Master of Social Work (Macro/Political) from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
