Amy B. Jessop

Amy B. Jessop has a diverse work experience in the field of public health and research. Amy B. currently holds the role of Director of Research and HepTREC at Prevention Point Philadelphia since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Professor of Public Health at Western Michigan University from August 2018 to August 2021. Amy also has extensive involvement with Prevention Point Philadelphia, where they were a Member of the Board of Directors from September 2006 to July 2021. Amy B. also worked as an Associate Professor at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia from August 2007 to August 2018.

Amy B. Jessop completed their Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at Penn State University from 1982 to 1986. Amy B. then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey between 1991 and 1994. To deepen their expertise in public health, Amy B. Jessop proceeded to earn a PhD in Public Health (Health Studies) from Temple University, completing their doctoral studies from 1995 to 2000.
