Alan joined Price Bailey in 1991, qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1996 and has managed the Business Systems team for the practice since its inception in 2001.
Alan worked with a wide range of Business and Corporate clients, and managed a mixed portfolio, prior to the creation of the Business Systems team. Whilst working with Business and Corporate clients, he gained extensive experience of bookkeeping and management accounts requirements as well as the issues that clients face with different systems and processes.
As a requirement to become a small and mid-market Sage business partner, Alan has completed an extensive training and accreditation programme, gaining a status for Price Bailey which very few other Accountancy practices hold. Alan has in-depth knowledge of the wide range of add-ons and bespoke tailoring the Price Bailey offer for Sage and can offer a range of options for a client’s needs.
Alan was part of the team which assessed which Cloud accountancy and complimentary software products Price Bailey should offer and can advise on cloud versus desktop, and which add-ons are most applicable.
Throughout Alan’s career, he has worked on a number of specialist reporting and consultancy assignments, incorporating a number of different systems, and can provide advice on a wide range of reporting and processing issues.
