Derek S. Nelson has a long history of work experience in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. Derek S. began their career in 1989 as a Buyer for Scot Pump Division of Ardox Corp. In 1991, they became a Mobile Territory Manager for Force America. In 1996, they joined Parker Hannifin as a Cylinder Application Engineer and Hydraulic Territory Manager. In 2009, they were a Technical Sales Representative for Sentinel Fluid Controls. In 2011, they became a Sales Manager-Mobile Hydraulics for Thomas Magnete. In 2013, they were a Regional Sales Manager for HydraForce, Inc. and, most recently, in 2015, they were an Account Executive for Price Engineering. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for increasing sales of hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid conveyance components and systems, providing sales support, project management, and application assistance, and account management.
Derek S. Nelson attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a BBA in Finance. Derek S. then attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained a Fluid Power certificate. In March 2008, they became a Certified Fluid Power Specialist, awarded by the Fluid Power Society.
