Philippe Damoune

Philippe Damoune has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Philippe is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Pricemoov since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Polyconseil as a Full Stack Engineer from November 2019 to June 2022. In this role, they were involved in the migration of a large scale project to AWS, using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Docker, and GitlabCI. Philippe also gained experience with AWS services like RDS, EC2, S3, EFS, VPC, and EIP.

Before their role at Polyconseil, Philippe worked as a Head Waiter at Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group from December 2018 to October 2019. Philippe gained practical experience in the hospitality industry.

In 2018, Philippe had an internship as a Full stack web developer at IBM. Their main project involved connecting marketing SaaS platforms through their APIs. Philippe developed a Python 3 and Flask-based web application and connected the APIs through it. Philippe also automated recurring tasks for consultants and customers.

Philippe also has experience as a Restaurant Manager at Doobies Restaurant from November 2016 to November 2018 and Brasserie la Place from September 2013 to October 2016. Philippe was a Restaurant Owner at Restaurant A l'ancienne from March 2011 to August 2013 and worked as a Head Waiter at Wildfire Restaurant from May 2010 to January 2011 and D&D London from December 2008 to April 2010.

Additionally, Philippe worked as an IT Technician at Progamer - Gaming Area from September 2006 to November 2008, gaining technical skills in that role.

Philippe Damoune began their education in 2006 at Provence Formation - Marseille, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Computing Management and Networking Administration. Philippe completed this program in 2008. In 2016, Philippe enrolled in 42, where they earned a Certificate of Architecture Design in Digital Technologies. This program focused on various aspects of programming, algorithms, data structures, operating systems, networks, and computer vision. Concurrently, between 2018 and 2019, they attended Strathfield College Sydney Australia, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology Project Management.
