Martin Fox-Roberts

Martin Fox-Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Martin has worked as a British Sign Language/English Interpreter on a freelance basis, with a focus on holistic massage therapy. Martin has also served as a performance British Sign Language Interpreter.

In addition to their work as an interpreter, Martin has experience in the event industry as an independent wedding celebrant for Proud Fox Ceremonies. Martin has also held a senior operations role at Pride in London.

Martin has a strong affiliation with the Association of Sign Language Interpreters Ltd. (ASLI), where they have served as a director, national treasurer, and director liaison. Martin has also held the position of ASLI regional chair for London and South East.

Earlier in their career, Martin worked as a British Sign Language/English Interpreter for RAD. Martin has also served as a theatre manager for Battersea Arts Centre and a membership services representative for the National Association of Youth Theatres (NAYT).

Martin's work experience also includes a role as a proprietor for Martin Gabriel Promotions, where they focused on promoting and integrating live theatre into education sectors and the community. Martin started their career as a booking coordinator for Cleveland Theatre Company and temporarily worked as a team supervisor for Prospect Link.

Martin Fox-Roberts completed a Post Graduate Diploma in BSL / English Interpreting from the University of Central Lancashire from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1993, they obtained a Diploma in Performing Arts and Multi-Media from ARTTS International, York.
