Melissa Stephens has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Melissa is currently the President of Serenity on Fire LLC since 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Operations at Pride Surveys/International Survey Associates starting in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, Melissa worked as the Certification Manager at Greater Women's Business Council, and before that, they served as the Executive Administrative Assistant at the same organization from 2013 to 2014.

Melissa also has experience as an Instructor at Georgia State University from 2013 to 2015. In 2012, they held the position of Director of Development at Jaylen's Challenge Foundation, Inc., where they were responsible for researching potential funders, writing grant applications, and serving as a Project Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.

Melissa Stephens has a diverse education history. Melissa first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida in 2008. In the same year, they also received a certificate in Juvenile Justice Leadership from the same institution. Melissa then pursued a Master's of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of Central Florida from 2008 to 2012. Melissa further continued their education by taking doctoral courses in Sociology at Georgia State University from 2012 to 2014.

In 2018, Melissa attended the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, where they earned a Certified Professional Coach degree in CORE Energy Coaching, Energy Leadership, and CORE.E Dynamics. Additionally, they became an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) in 2018 through iPEC Coaching.

Melissa has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. Melissa became a Grant Professionals Certification (CPC) from the University of Central Florida in 2012, and they also completed a Nonprofit Management program at the same institution. Additionally, they hold various certifications from iPEC Coaching, including Core.E Dynamics | Leadership Dynamics Specialist (CLDS), Core.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist, Core.E Wellbeing Dynamics Specialist, and Life Coach.

Lastly, Melissa is an active member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and obtained the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from them in 2021. Melissa also received the ICF Member Badge in 2021.
