Gerry Sullivan

President, CEO & Co-Founder at Priiva Consulting Corporation

Gerry Sullivan is the President, CEO, and co-founder of Priiva Consulting Corporation. Since 1995, he has been involved the delivery of corporate strategy based upon game theory principles. Prior to the founding of Priiva, Gerry was co-founder, President and CEO of Open Options Corporations. Gerry has been a principal in hundreds of game theory engagements relating to mergers & acquisitions, competitive positioning, alliance development, labor-management negotiations, government regulations, litigation, and environmental issues.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Sullivan was on the faculty of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. His research specialty was large-scale process optimization and control, and he has authored many research publications and consulted widely. Gerry was educated at the University of Waterloo (BASc) and Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, England (PhD 1977, Chemical Engineering). He is also a graduate of Stanford University's Executive Business Program (1992).

Gerry has had a history of service on boards of public and private organizations including the University of Waterloo, and many early stage high technology companies. He is the recipient of the University of Waterloo Engineering Alumni Achievement Medal and the Society of Chemical Industry International Award.
