McKenna West (Maxwell)

McKenna West (Maxwell) has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. McKenna is currently the Director of Data Analytics at Primary.Health since March 2022. Previously, McKenna worked at Solis Mammography as the Manager of Analytics from December 2019 to April 2022. In this role, they created rate models, developed an EDW in SQL, and built ETL processes for data ingestion. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Data Science and Analytics at MPOWERHealth from April 2018 to December 2019, where they created predictive machine learning models and developed pricing and patient risk models. McKenna also worked as a Predictive and Statistical Analyst at MedSynergies/Optum360 from July 2016 to April 2018, where they created models for predicting causes of denials, performance metrics, and conducted in-depth analysis on survey results. Additionally, they gained internship experience at Baylor Scott & White Health in 2015 and served as an Economic Tutor and SI Leader at Stephen F. Austin State University from 2013 to 2015.

McKenna West (Maxwell) completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Economics from Stephen F. Austin State University, which they attended from 2012 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Business Analytics from the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, where they studied from 2015 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, McKenna also obtained a certification as an HDP Certified Developer from Hortonworks in May 2016.
