Peter Chen is a seasoned operations executive with 25+ years of experience leading and scaling early stage companies through hyper growth, rounds of funding and exits. His first company, Community Connect Inc, was one of the earliest social networking companies and was eventually acquired by Radio One. Over 12 years, as co-founder, he cut his teeth by leading multiple departments, including Product Management, Customer Success, Account Management, Sales Ops and running different business lines, including Online Dating and Diversity Recruiting. At SinglePlatform, as COO, he launched and integrated their platform with all major publishers, including Google, Yelp, Yahoo, YellowPages, Foursquare and Opentable, which led to the acquisition by Constant Contact. Then as GM, he continued SinglePlatform's growth to over 30k paying locations and $20m in revenue. At Slice, as President & COO, he oversaw the company's growth from 2,000 to over 10,000 shops and $30M to over $250M in GMV, while managing 500 employees across 3 offices in NY and Macedonia. Lastly, at Odeko, as COO, he successfully managed the team through the COVID lockdown, which included furloughing over half the staff, raising multiple rounds of funding, acquiring two companies and driving over $80 million in revenue.
