Makarand Walvekar

Makarand Walvekar currently serves as the Business Development Lead at PrimaVerse since May 2025. Previously, Makarand held the position of General Manager at Sobha Ltd. from February 2020 to June 2023 and worked as Regional Sales Manager at Shalimar Paints from May 2018 to February 2020, focusing on business development for industrial and decorative products across the Rest of Maharashtra. Makarand's experience also includes acting as Jio Centre Manager in Pune from January 2015 to May 2018, where responsibilities included launching Jio services in the city and establishing operational infrastructure. Earlier roles consist of managing Croma units in Pune as Unit Head from April 2010 to January 2015 and serving as Area Sales Manager at Goodlass Nerolac Paints Ltd. from July 2004 to December 2007, overseeing operations across multiple districts in Kolhapur. Makarand holds an MBA in Sales & Marketing from Maharashtra Institute of Technology and a BE in Civil Engineering from Shivaji University, along with a 12th-grade education from Sainik School Satara.
