Jodi G. Smith, MBA has a diverse work experience in instructional design, e-learning development, program management, and marketing. Jodi G. is currently working as a Lead Instructional Designer at Prime 8 Consulting, where they oversee lesson creation and design development plans for building courses. Prior to this, they worked as an E-learning Developer/Digital Learning Volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, where they led the recreation of virtual instructor-led training curriculum into eLearning modules. Jodi G. also has experience as a Content Lead and Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor at KIPP Texas Public Schools, where they designed and developed blended learning modules and created curriculum for a "yoga in athletics" program. Jodi also worked as an Instructional Designer at Learning Strategy and Design, where they created lesson design documents for marketing and brand management certification training. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Program Officer at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and in various roles at Houston ISD, including Organizational Development and Training Facilitator, Strategic Marketing and Communications Manager, and Performance Management Analyst. Jodi also worked as an Operations Consultant at The New Teacher Project.

Jodi G. Smith, MBA has a diverse education history. Jodi G. earned their MBA degree in Marketing Strategy from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 2010. In 2013, they attended Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business for an executive education program focused on Strategic Marketing Management. Additionally, they participated in the International Management Exchange Program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Prior to their advanced degrees, Jodi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Purdue University. Recently, in 2021, they attended the Applied Instructional Design Academy to enhance their skills in instructional design. Jodi has also acquired several certifications, including Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Instructional Design, and eLearning Development from Learning Strategy and Design. Jodi G. is also a Certified Associate in Project Management, obtained from the Project Management Institute in 2014.
