Michael Paunescu

Michael Paunescu has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Michael started their career in 2012 as an Assistant Manager at KPMG Deutschland, where they worked until 2015. In 2016, they joined Mainzer Volksbank as an Internal Auditor for a brief period before moving on to Prime Capital AG. At Prime Capital AG, they held the positions of Internal Auditor and later became the Chief Compliance Officer, a role they still hold. In 2019, they joined Prime AIFM LUX S.A. as a Compliance Officer and was later promoted to Chief Compliance Officer in 2023.

Michael Paunescu graduated from Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences in 2012 with a Bachelor of Laws degree in Wirtschaftsrecht.
