Wolfgang Schmid

Wolfgang Schmid has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Wolfgang is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Prime Capital AG since January 2023. Previously, they held the role of Managing Director - Head of Operations and Valuations at the same company from September 2019 to December 2022. Wolfgang is also a Conducting Officer Valuation at Prime AIFM LUX S.A. since March 2020. Wolfgang has held positions at prestigious companies such as Duff & Phelps as a Director from February 2017 to August 2019, JPMorgan Chase & Co. as the Head of Private Equity & Real Estate Services from January 2015 to January 2017, EY as a Manager from December 2013 to December 2014, and KPMG as an Assistant Manager from October 2009 to November 2013. Early in their career, they worked as a Trainee at EY from July 2008 to March 2009 and at Moore Stephens from September 2007 to February 2008. Additionally, Wolfgang has been actively involved in the Luxembourg Valuation Professionals Association (LVPA) as a Founding Committee Member until July 2022 and as a Member of the Promotion and Outreach Group.

Wolfgang Schmid's education history includes three significant periods. From 2004 to 2009, they attended the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes Saarbrücken, where they obtained a Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) degree in Finance, Controlling, and Accounting. Following this, they enrolled at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in 2014 and concluded in 2015, receiving a degree as a Real Estate Investment Advisor (EBS), specializing in Real Estate Investment and Finance. Lastly, in 2018, Wolfgang attended the same university, EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, for Real Estate Risk Management.
