Kate Nelson

Kate Nelson, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of medical education and scientific affairs. Kate is currently the Director of Scientific Affairs at PRIME Education, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Scientific Affairs at PRIME Education from June 2019 to June 2021. Before joining PRIME Education, Kate worked as a Medical Program Manager at CME Outfitters, LLC from June 2018 to June 2019. Kate also held the positions of Medical Director and Associate Medical Director at PVI, PeerView Institute for Medical Education from April 2016 to June 2018 and December 2014 to April 2016, respectively. Kate's earlier experience includes working as a Scientific Project Manager at Synergy Medical Education from May 2014 to December 2014, and as a Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer/Researcher at Vindico Medical Education from August 2009 to May 2014 and October 2008 to August 2009, respectively.

Kate Nelson, PhD completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at The Catholic University of America from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued further studies at Jefferson Health from 2001 to 2008 where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Pharmacology and Structural Biology.
