Kimberly Ilao dela Peña

Kimberly Ilao Dela Peña is a skilled petroleum geologist currently working at Prime Energy Resources Development B.V. since May 2023, specializing in play-based exploration, seismic interpretation, and prospect generation. In addition to this role, Kimberly serves as a Senior Lecturer for the Petroleum Geology elective course at the National Institute of Geological Sciences, UP Diliman. Previously, Kimberly held the position of Petroleum Geoscientist at PNOC Exploration Corporation from September 2017 to May 2023, where evaluations of hydrocarbon prospectivity were conducted using advanced geologic and geophysical tools. Additional experience includes a research assistant role at Chiang Mai University and as an exploration geologist at Pitkin Petroleum Plc. Kimberly holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geophysics from Chiang Mai University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology, graduating Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines.
