Rick Naegler

Rick Naegler serves as the Regional Chief Executive Officer for Prime Healthcare’s Region IV, overseeing four hospitals and affiliated sites across Missouri and Kansas. He is based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Rick brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including over a decade in senior leadership. Before joining Prime Healthcare, he was Regional Vice President for United Surgical Partners International, Inc. His previous roles include Market CEO for Northwest Health System in Arkansas, CEO of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Missouri, and CEO of Healthcare Corporation of America’s Florida Lake City Hospital. He has also held leadership positions with Tenet Healthcare and HCA’s Florida Osceola Hospital.

Rick earned a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Bellevue University in Nebraska, along with an Associate of Nursing degree from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. His healthcare career began in the US Army as a flight medic, where he received two Army Achievement Medals in recognition of his service.
