Sunil Patel, MD MBA, serves as the Regional Chief Medical Officer for Prime Healthcare in Illinois since March 2025. With a career spanning over two decades, Sunil Patel has held various leadership positions, including Chief Medical Officer at Ascension and Franciscan Health, where responsibilities extended to Chair of the Department of Medicine. Additional roles include Medical Director and Physician Advisor positions, as well as teaching faculty at Midwestern University. Sunil Patel’s clinical expertise is complemented by a solid educational background, holding a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University, a Master of Business Administration from Benedictine University, and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University.
