Alan Wilhelm

Alan Wilhelm has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Alan is currently working as a Scientist I at Prime Medicine, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to that, they were an Associate Scientist II at Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from September 2019 to August 2021.

Before joining Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Alan worked at ImmunoGen, Inc. starting in November 2012. Alan held multiple roles at ImmunoGen, including Principal Research Associate from March 2017 to August 2019, Senior Research Associate from January 2016 to March 2017, Research Associate III from March 2015 to January 2016, and Research Associate II from November 2012 to March 2015.

Alan's work experience also includes an internship at Boston University in 2012 and positions at Merck. At Merck, they worked as a Research Associate from 2009 to 2012 and as a Research Animal Specialist II from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, Alan worked as a Research Animal Specialist Team Leader at Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2004 to February 2007.

Alan Wilhelm attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences/Sociology. Alan also holds a Laboratory Animal Technologist (LAT) certification from AALAS, which was obtained in 2008.
