Dylan A. Smolen

Dylan A. Smolen currently serves as an Associate Scientist II at Prime Medicine, Inc., where responsibilities include executing gRNA manufacturing under cGMP/GLP compliance for gene therapy programs and leading downstream processing experiments. Previously, at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, Dylan held the roles of Scientist Group Leader and Engineer II, overseeing a team while also leading downstream process development for FDA approval, as well as conducting lab-scale experiments for vaccine development. Dylan’s early experience includes a biomedical engineering internship at the Cleveland Clinic, focusing on innovative therapy research for stroke patients. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in the same field.
