Joseph Elich

Joseph Elich has a diverse work experience in the fields of engineering and research. Joseph is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Prime Medicine, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Moderna from 2017 to 2022, holding positions such as Sr Engineer and Sr Research Associate focused on mRNA development. Before Moderna, they were a Technical Development Research Associate at Genentech from 2014 to 2017, where they were responsible for analytical characterization of early-stage pipeline projects. Additionally, they participated in the Process Development Rotational Program at Genentech, where they gained experience in various areas of process development. Joseph also has experience as a Development Intern at Pulmatrix Inc., conducting research on inhaled therapies. Prior to their industry experience, they worked as a Research Assistant in the David Putnam Lab, Robert Langer Lab, and Medicinal Polymer Chemistry Lab.

Joseph Elich completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Engineering from Cornell University, which they pursued from 2009 to 2013. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in Cornell University again in 2013 and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering.
