Nagashree Babu

Nagashree Babu has a diverse work experience that includes roles in engineering and research. Nagashree currently works as a Senior Engineer at Prime Medicine, Inc. where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Moderna from December 2018 to April 2023, first as an Engineer II, Process Development and then as an Engineer III, Process Development. At ImmunoGen, Inc., they served as a Development Engineer from April 2018 to November 2018, focusing on process science and engineering for conjugation process development. Nagashree gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from February 2017 to February 2018, working in the Karlsson Lab. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Process Design Engineer at Desmet Ballestra from December 2014 to December 2015, participating in basic and detailed engineering design processes for oil refining plants. Nagashree also has experience as a Research Intern at The Energy and Resources Institute from January 2014 to June 2014, leading a team to study the development of fire retardant composites. Nagashree completed an Industrial Trainee program at ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Ltd in January 2013.

Nagashree Babu has a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Prior to that, Nagashree completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Chemical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
