Tarek abu Fakhr

Tarek Abu Fakhr is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government advisory roles, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Prime Minister's Office in the UAE since August 2009, focusing on Government Development & the Future, Strategy & Policy. Prior to this role, Tarek was an Advisor for the National Program for Happiness and Wellbeing from February 2016 to July 2020 and worked as an Associate Project Manager in Economic Development at The General Secretariat Of The Executive Council in Dubai from February 2006 to July 2009. Earlier positions include an Economist at the Dubai Development & Investment Authority and an Economic Researcher at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Tarek holds a Master's degree in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
