Hannah Beresford

Hannah Beresford is a seasoned regulatory professional currently serving as a Senior Regulatory Advisor at EirGrid Group since July 2025. Previously, Hannah held the role of Senior Manager, Regulation & Compliance at nexfibre from April 2024 to June 2025 and worked at Liberty Global where Hannah progressed from Corporate Affairs Trainee to Regulatory Affairs Manager over five years. Additionally, Hannah served as Chair of Programming for WICT Europe, focusing on women's career advancement in the cable telecommunications industry. Hannah's early experience includes an internship at The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, research on competition law and energy law, and a role as Speaker Director at Web Summit. Hannah holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Competition and Regulation Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Law & Political Science from Trinity College Dublin.
